The Organization
|
SSE was founded in 2002 and is headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio. SSE is setup as a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit corporation to act as a service organization to support various worldwide projects. The initial management team consists of the board of directors of SSE working closely with the Advisory Panel. The Advisory Panel is made up of industry experts and business leaders who share the same vision and passion for this program. Their business backgrounds include working for large multi-national corporations in the capacities of: CEOs, Healthcare Professionals, Senior Project Managers, Food Scientists, Lawyers, CFOs, Information Technology Experts, Service Project Coordinators, Construction Engineers, and Educators.
Full-time personnel have been hired to staff key management positions. SSE serves as a centralized service organization that develops and delivers technology and expertise that supports each individual project SSE is involved in. This advantage allows SSE to participate with business communities and retired executives to get them involved in providing tangible solutions, for long-term projects, in short timeframes.
SSE provides a model that allows these individuals to work for as short or long as they would like on specific projects that leverage their talents. This aspect of SSE's business model minimizes employment costs while providing premium services and expertise.

Here is SSE's headquarter's structure:

SSE sets up non-profit entities locally within each country where SSE operates a project. These non-profit entities act as franchises of the parent company, SSE. The makeup of these entities is predominately local business leaders who manage and operate these programs. In all countries where SSE has projects, there will be a Country Director that is responsible for various operations within that country. The Country Director will also interface with a local advisory board made up of businessmen and women who contribute to the success of the project and provide accountability. Additionally, local experts in healthcare, education, manufacturing and facilities management will be hired to support the operations. The overall makeup of the advisory board and local experts will depend on the type of projects being undertaken in each country. The Country Operation draw upon the resources and expertise of SSE’s headquarters’ organization to develop, implement and maintain various local projects.
Here is an example of the proposed structure of a Country Operation.
